| whats up all you ghetto xanga-ers?! i seriously dont know where to start... how bout the begining. :) HI! im dolan! (awkward silence) ok, to far back... im a marine and all that now. basic sucked. marine combat training sucked. and im now at my MOS school which is really cool!!! we got a 96 libo, so i could just walk around all day, slam full throttles and eat doughnuts. AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT I DID!!! i forgot my yahoo password... so ya. thats it ina nutshell. comment me if you think im retarted. :) but keep in mind im learning how to use C4, T-N-T, dynomite... | details? certainly. MEPS which is where i had to go to take the ASVAB and pass the physical and all that. and MEPS is in new orleans. more accurately, in the ninth ward. im sure you know the name... there wernt very many of us. maybe 6 other marines and one army guy.we harrased the army guys so much. :) it was fun. anyway, we get up at 4 am and get outa the hotel (a nice 4 star one. wanna know where your tax $'s go? right there. :) we get to meps @ 6 and the first thing is sight and hearing. which i pass. no problems. the harder part was next. its a test called the ASVAB. it stands for Arsenal Service Vocational Apptitude Battery test. for as mean as that sounds, its justa souped up ACT. just alot of basic knowledge stuff. i scored a 74, and i needed a 32 to get into the marines. so, needless to say, i passed. and the higher the score, the more your elidgeable (idk how to spel) you are for pay raises, promotions and job selections. i scored high enough to do any job in the Corps. so that was cool... next was the physical. and it was a very physical physical. if you get my drift... passed with no problems. next was the mental health. they wanted to know if i had any traffic tickets, ever done drugs, problems with the law... i was fine so i was passed. it was pretty awesome... i was sworn in and became a marine of sorts... since i havnt graduated basic, im called a poolee. i leave for basic in Paris Island on june 18th. in the mean time i have to keep weekly contact with my recruter and work out every day. but thats about it... if there was something else, iv forgotten. :) bye! | this update must be done in now 9 mins. nope, 8, actually... actaually, it wasnt the flu, it was bronchitis. fun huh? my throat is still soar. it takes litteraly weeks for everything to heal... nash is getting MVP again. not shaq, kobe, dirk... nash, and thats that. he is the ultimate team player. he makes anyone he plays with better. I HAVE SPOKEN. 5 mins... i am back in the work force. same company, just different store. still the same old crappy pay. im sure they like me so much because im payed so little, but can work anywhere in the store. their totaly owning me... retards... 3 mins... my back hurts. ok, so im in the library right? and there is this little kid thats talking really loud. its kinda pissing me off. and no one (heavan forbid his parents) will shut him up. ill bring the smake down on him if no one else will. 1 min... seriously, are not girls waaaaaay cooler thatn guys? ok, im gone, have a mostly ok day. :) | | |
| i am recovering from the flu. yipee. it almost killed me. a band im begining to like alot is muse. look em up. there suprisingly good. they do "knights of cydonia" its got apretty good baseline... so basketball is over. we got knocked out first round. that was lame... but i got First Team All-State. (thats good, by the way...) but who cares if your lose so easily? oh well. we finished 11-6. so not all that great... "cant stop" isnt top five!!!! see that ross?!?!?! ;) bye you peeps. | | |
